Does AdmiScan guarantee admission or seat allotment?
No. AdmiScan is a decision-support tool. It uses available historical admission data and structured audit rules to help you review a shortlist. Final outcomes depend on current counselling rules, category or quota, seat availability, competition and your submitted choice order.
Which admission routes does AdmiScan currently support?
The current public beta includes JoSAA engineering, KCET, COMEDK, NEET Counselling for Karnataka, Kerala and Maharashtra, and selected global Masters/MBA audit flows. Coverage differs by counselling, country and programme, so always check the data-coverage panel shown in the relevant audit.
Which years and counselling rounds are used?
Coverage is shown separately for each audit because the available year, rounds, categories and quotas are not identical. Open the audit page or result and check “Data used for this audit” for the exact dataset currently configured in AdmiScan.
Do category, quota, home state and gender pool affect the result?
Yes. These fields can change the applicable cutoff substantially. Enter the same category, quota, seat region, home state and gender pool that apply to your official counselling profile. Comparing against the wrong combination can produce a misleading result.
What do Ambitious, Within historical range and Lower historical risk mean?
They describe how your rank compares with the available historical cutoff for the matching choice and counselling context. They are not promises. An ambitious choice can still move, and a historically lower-risk choice can still become unavailable.
What does Insufficient Data or Needs Verification mean?
It means AdmiScan could not find enough matching verified information to make a responsible positive classification. Do not treat missing data as a Target or Safe result. Verify the programme, category, quota, cutoff, eligibility and fees using the official source.
Are suggested colleges or programmes guaranteed to be available?
No. Suggestions are planning options based on the data and filters available to AdmiScan. You must confirm that the college, programme, quota, category, eligibility, fees and current counselling availability match your situation.
Does AI decide my admission chances?
For cutoff-based engineering and medical audits, structured admission data and audit rules calculate the result. AI may be used only to present or explain the result more clearly. Global MS/MBA audits may use AI-assisted document analysis, but official university requirements still control eligibility and admission.
Is my information stored?
Some audit records may be retained for service operation, saved reports, support, debugging and abuse prevention. Uploaded or pasted application content may be processed by service providers needed to deliver the feature. Read the Privacy Policy before uploading documents, and do not upload unrelated sensitive information.
Is AdmiScan free during the public beta?
Yes. All currently available beta audits are free and no payment is required. Paid plans may be introduced later. Pricing and access conditions will be shown before any payment is collected.
How can I report incorrect data or a confusing result?
Email the audit type, college or university, programme, category or quota, counselling round, screenshot and official source where available. Verified data issues are prioritised during active counselling periods.
